In total, IVC is among only 200 higher education institutions nationwide, including both two- and four-year colleges, invited to apply for the Departmentβs prestigious .

The college has made significant strides in improving student outcomes, particularly by ensuring equitable access for underrepresented populations. The Postsecondary Success Recognition program is a key component of the Departmentβs Raise the Bar initiative, which aims to increase postsecondary completion rates, close achievement gaps, and ensure students graduate with valuable credentials that lead to fulfilling careers. This recognition emphasizes how well institutions prepare students for meaningful futures rather than focusing on exclusivity.
