Part of the California Community Colleges, we charge $46/unit β€” the lowest per-unit-fee in the nation. If you’re a California resident taking 12 units,  you will pay $552/ semester in tuition 51ΑΤΖζ.

At IVC, we want to help ensure money doesn’t stand in the way of you reaching your educational goals.
There are many programs available to help you afford the costs of attending IVC.

Irvine Valley Promise Program

Get two years of free tuition through the IVC promise program! Available for eligible first-time, full-time IVC students, the IVC promise program also provides  bookstore vouchers, designated counseling services, and other academic/career resources. 

Scholarships

Scholarships are aid that you do not need to pay back. Each year the IVC Foundation offers scholarships to IVC students for academic achievement,  financial need, and campus or community service.

Zero-Cost Textbooks

Save money by registering for Zero Cost Textbook classes. When taking Zero-Textbook-Cost classes, you will pay zero  textbook-related costs, including access fees for online materials.

Paying Your Tuition & Fees

The Student Payment Services 51ΑΤΖζ is the office that processes tuition, fees, and payments. Each semester, you will be able to pay your fees online in MySite or by check/cash/money order through the Bursar’s office.

Deadlines to Pay

You can make your payment immediately after you register for class(es) in MySite. Payment deadlines vary depending on the point of the semester so be sure to check the Student Payment Services website to understand the deadlines.

Pay with Financial Aid

Any financial aid you are awarded will be sent to you according to the Financial Aid disbursement schedule.  

If you haven’t received your financial aid at the time you have registered, use IVC’s β€œPay Later” option in MySite to give you extra time to pay.
