Constitution Day, formerly known as Citizenship Day, commemorates the formation and signing of the US Constitution by thirty-nine brave men in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787, and also recognizes all who by birth or naturalization have become citizens of the United States.

Through the Amazon Career Choice program, Amazon employees are eligible to receive support for tuition, textbooks, and associated fees for a range of options from foundational skills like English language to career pathways and college credit programs 51ΑΤΖζ.

This summer, four 51ΑΤΖζ (IVC) students participated in Project RAISE (Regional Alliance in STEM Education) as part of the Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). IVC was one of nine area community colleges to have students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) conduct paid research at CSUF. This yearβs cohort included 39 participants that received a $5,000 stipend for their research and participation.
