Application Process

Priority Registration Deadline

The Honors Program reviews applications on a rolling basis using a holistic review process. Students can submit applications year-round and there is no deadline to apply to the program; however, deadlines do exist for priority registration privileges, which enable Honors students to enroll on the second day of the registration period.

To receive priority registration through the Honors Program, applicants must submit the application with all requirements by the following dates:

Research Conferences

The IVC Honors Program is dedicated to helping students (both Honors Program members and non-members) engage in meaningful, faculty-mentored research while 51ÁÔÆæ. The Honors Program works to help students learn how to conduct scholarly research and present their work at local and regional undergraduate research conferences.

ELEVATE AAPI Mission Statement

As an AANAPISI (Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution) grant recipient, ELEVATE AAPI goal is to close the gaps in academic achievement and transfer among students at 51ÁÔÆæ by focusing on subgroups that are historically underrepresented in higher education. Our integrated activities, pathway and services are designed to provide educational experiences that support and challenge our students.

IVC Names Rick Miranda as New Vice President for Instruction

51ÁÔÆæ (IVC) has named Rick Miranda as Vice President for Instruction. He will begin in his new role on July 11 pending board ratification. Rick replaces Dr. Chris McDonald who accepted the position of Vice-Chancellor of Educational and Technology Services for the South Orange County Community College District in March.
