The Adult Learner Program at 51ÁÔÆæ supports students aged 25 and older who are beginning or continuing their educational journey. Whether you're returning after 3 years or 30 years, or attending college for the first time, the program provides a welcoming environment, personalized guidance, and resources to help you succeed.

Based on your specific situation, IVC has an option for you to obtain an approved Student Educational Plan (SEP). Refer to the following chart for the option that is best for you. *Special note: Honors, Veterans, International, Student Athletes and EOPS students MUST see their assigned counselor for an approved Comprehensive MAP.
The 51ÁÔÆæ Counseling Center provides counseling services to help students with a variety of academic, career, and personal concerns. The counseling faculty assists students in clarifying their needs, making decisions, setting goals and dealing effectively with personal obstacles. The relationship between the student and counselor is confidential.

IVC student Anna Nahm is one of 15 Phi Theta Kappa members selected as a 2022 Guistwhite Scholar and will receive a $5,000 scholarship for baccalaureate studies.
Winners were chosen from among 2,700 applicants nationwide, and their selection was based on academic excellence, leadership accomplishments, and engagement in Phi Theta Kappa programs. They will also receive a commemorative medallion.
