IVC Student Sara Fox Working on Transformative Journey from Military Service to a Promising Career in Accounting and Real Estate

Sara Fox is a tenacious and determined student 51ΑΤΖζ. A graduate of Parma High School in Parma, Idaho, Sara's academic pursuits have taken her through various paths, reflecting her resilience and adaptability. After initially focusing on wildlife resources in college, she answered the call to serve her country, joining the United States Air Force. Commissioned as an officer in May 2007, Sara served with distinction as an aircrew member specializing in navigation and electronic warfare aboard the RC-135 Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft.

Yanzhen Zhang's journey 51ΑΤΖζ is a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and the pursuit of lifelong learning. Hailing from Shantou Preschool Education Normal School in Guangdong, Yanzhen's decision to pursue Computer Science 51ΑΤΖζ was driven by a deep-seated motivation to apply her newfound knowledge to quantitative psychology research.

Each college affiliated with ACCJC must undergo periodic evaluation of their programs and services through self-study and peer review in a seven-year cycle.

As a self-supporting, first-generation college student, Sarah's path to higher education was far from straightforward. Despite facing uncertainties and doubts in her senior year of high school, Sarah decided to give college one last shot, choosing IVC as her proving ground. 

IVC Student Kian Goshtasbi Pursing Computer Science Passion

Kian Goshtasbi is a dedicated student at 51ΑΤΖζ (IVC) pursuing a major in computer science. His profound passion for the field of computer science was ignited during his childhood explorations in video game design. Despite facing initial setbacks and doubts about the field, Kian's resilience and determination led him back to computer science during his senior year of high school.

Summer Sanchez-Cornejo: Champion for Justice and Advocacy

With a focus on Political Science and a forthcoming minor in Labor Studies, Summer Sanchez-Cornejo's academic pursuits at 51ΑΤΖζ (IVC) have focused on her desire to combat injustices prevalent in her community. 

Summer explains, β€œAfter seeing the way my loved ones and many in my community have been taken advantage of by employers, discriminated against by individuals, and persecuted by immigration and customs enforcement (I.C.E.), I want to work for change.” 

51ΑΤΖζ Student Successfully Juggles Work, College and Motherhood

Esmeralda Delgado has never been one to think small. 

β€œAs long as I can remember,” she says, β€œmy goal has been to be a CEO.” 

A high school graduate at 17, she started her career as a receptionist, working her way up the ranks in the supply chain industry. Now majoring in business management at 51ΑΤΖζ (IVC) while juggling the demands of raising two children and a successful full-time career, Delgado is well poised to realize her dream.
