The IVC Financial Aid Office disburses financial aid funds to eligible IVC students in coordination with the Student Payment Office. Financial aid disbursements will be applied to any outstanding balances, and any excess balance will be refunded directly to the student.

To be considered for federal and state financial aid 51ÁÔÆæ, students must complete a and add 51ÁÔÆæ's Title IV School Code 025395 on the application. The FAFSA should be completed and submitted to the processing center as soon as possible after October 1st and before the March 2 deadline of each year for priority consideration for the next academic year.

Cal Grants are a state funded grant that is available to eligible California residents who complete a or , for AB540 eligible students, by March 2 for the next academic year. Students may qualify on the basis of merit, financial need, and/or vocational program. Funding for the Cal Grant is limited.
The California Chafee Grant Program provides financial assistance to current and former foster youth to use towards vocational training or a degree program. Students are awarded up to $2,250 each semester. A student's receipt of a Chafee Grant award shall not exceed five years (whether or not consecutive) and is not guaranteed, due to limited funding.
