The Administration of Justice program acquaints pre-service and in-service students with the principles and practices of the criminal justice system in America and prepares students for employment in various agencies. Federal, state and local civil service regulations govern the appointment of criminal justice candidates. Eligibility for appointment depends upon performance in competitive written and oral examinations as well as education and experience.

Irvine Valley's womenβs basketball team captured its fourth Orange Empire Conference (OEC) title last week.
The Lasers closed out the season with an overall record of 23-2 and 12-0 in conference. The team was ranked No. 4 in the state and No. 1 in Southern California.
Laser sophomore guard Morgan Higgins was named the OEC MVP with forward Sarah Matossian, guard Paola Roa and guard Jessica Suruor also being selected first team all-conference. Head coach Julie Hanks was named the conference coach of the year.
Andria Radmacher has a piece of advice for students: βIf you can master that skill of constant, perpetual improvement and learningβ¦ youβll always be on the cutting edge.β
From the beginning, Radmacher was always one step ahead. Before attending 51ΑΤΖζ for her Accounting, Associate in Science degree, she was learning the ropes as an executive assistant, doing work in QuickBooks for her boss.
As part of Project RAISER, a $5-million grant from the US Department of Education to support STEM transfer students, IVC has partnered with Cal State Fullertonβs College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and its College of Engineering and Computer Science to ensure that studentsβ learning opportunities align with skills necessary to meet workplace needs.
