Printing FAQs

You can set your default printer to the Papercut 'Find Me' printer or any other printer you'd like.

Follow the instructions below:

  1. Type "Printers" in the Windows search bar in the bottom left corner of the screen.

  2. Click the "Printers and Scanners" result.

  3. Scroll down until you see the setting "Let Windows manage my default printer".
    By default, Windows selects your default printer automatically based on the printer you use the most.
    To manually set your default printer, the setting should be unchecked.

  4. Find the 'FindMe-IVC' printer or whatever printer you want to set as default, click on it, and click 'Manage' .

  5. Click "Set as Default" .

You can print to the 'FindMe' Papercut printer from directly within an application just as you would normally print to any other printer.

  1. Open the print menu in the application you want to print from.
    For Office applications like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc, you do this by clicking 'File' > 'Print'

  2. In the printers list, find and select 'FindMe-IVC on IVC-IRV-App01'

  3. Continue to print as normal

The first time you print, you'll need to associate your staff ID card and create a Pin.

Follow the instructions below. 

  1. Tap your staff ID card near the sensor.

  2. Select Yes to associate your ID with your account.

  3. Enter your Username & Password. Select OK. (username ex: jsmith)

  4. Your card has been associated. Select OK.

  5. Set a four-digit PIN number for your account.
    You can now use your card and PIN number to log in to copiers and release print jobs.

Follow these steps once you have sent the print job to the printer and you are physically at the printer.

  1. Swipe ID card or use credentials.

  2. Enter four-digit PIN Number if using ID card. (or username & password if you selected that option)

  3. Choose the Cost Center to charge the job after logging in.

  4. Select file/s to print.

  6. Click the icon in the top right corner to log out or click the home button in the bottom left to continue to print.
