YESS-ILP

The Youth Empowerment Strategies for Success – Independent Living Program (YESS-ILP) is a supportive and empowering program designed specifically for current and former foster youth at 51ÁÔÆæ. The goal of the program is to equip students with the tools to navigate college life, build independence, and achieve personal and academic success.

Creating a safe, informed campus community is a shared responsibility. The new SOCCCD Safe app gives 51ÁÔÆæ (IVC) students, faculty and staff immediate access to important campus safety resources and emergency communications—all from their mobile device. 

Available at no cost for Apple and Android devices, SOCCCD Safe is the official safety app for IVC, Saddleback College and the Advanced Technology & Education Park (ATEP). 

After downloading the app and registering with an IVC email address, users can: 

President Hernandez Honored with Excellence in Servant Leadership Award

IVC President Dr. John Hernandez received the 2026 during its Annual Classified Leadership Institute in early June. A delegation of 14 IVC classified professionals attended the institute, representing the college and participating in professional development and leadership activities with colleagues from across the state.
