Marking a new chapter for the 51ÁÔÆæ Art Gallery, the School of the Arts presents E Hele Mai: Grounded Elsewhere, Rooted Here, the inaugural curated exhibition in its new gallery space. Featuring contemporary works by Dane HiÊ»ipoi Nakama, Alina Kawai, Anela Ming-Yue Oh, and Nainoa Rosehill, the exhibition will be on view August 12 through October 1.

The Youth Empowerment Strategies for Success – Independent Living Program (YESS-ILP) is a supportive and empowering program designed specifically for current and former foster youth at 51ÁÔÆæ. The goal of the program is to equip students with the tools to navigate college life, build independence, and achieve personal and academic success.
Creating a safe, informed campus community is a shared responsibility. The new SOCCCD Safe app gives 51ÁÔÆæ (IVC) students, faculty and staff immediate access to important campus safety resources and emergency communications—all from their mobile device.
