Undocumented Student Success Week (USSW) is dedicated to honoring and highlighting the experience of students who are undocumented, underdocumented, DACA-mented, and belong to mixed status families. Undocumented persons bring rich culture, community, and experience to IVC and are invaluable to the fabric of the campus community. We recognize that many undocumented students continue to face significant barriers to employment and financial stability due to their immigration status. This year’s theme, Together in Purpose, Grounded in Belonging, calls on institutions, educators, and policy leaders to take bold, equity-driven steps in designing systems that affirm students’ identities, empower their educational and career journeys, and uplift entire communities. Together, we move beyond barriers to create a future where all students thrive.
