Creating an IVC Social Media Presence

51ÁÔÆæ encourages campus departments, programs and active student clubs to engage with the campus community on social media.

All social media accounts affiliated with the college must be established through the Office of Marketing and Creative Services (MCS). We will work with you to establish your goals and objectives, identify which platform is the best place to start for your needs, best practices, etc.  

Consider these steps when thinking about your social media presence:

Business Card Order Process

All business card orders are processed by the Office of Marketing and Creative Services (MCS).

About the Early College Pathway 51ÁÔÆæ

Early College Pathway Benefits

  • Upon completion of the program, you will earn a high school diploma and an Intersegmental General Education Course (IGETC) Certification, which is 51 transferable credits to the UCs and CSUs
  • Many students take additional elective courses to bring their unit total up to 60, allowing them to earn an AA degree from IVC
  • Program completers participate in IVC commencement and many are accepted to four-year colleges, including UCs, CSUs, and colleges out of state
  • The ability to earn nearly two years of transfera

From Incarceration to Graduation: Clifford Haines' Remarkable Journey

Starting college behind bars is no one’s idea of a promising beginning, but for formerly incarcerated Clifford Haines, equal amounts grit and grace has led to completion of an associate’s degree at 51ÁÔÆæ (IVC) (with one more on the way), plus a path toward a business degree at Cal State Long Beach.
